How To Support Us
Hope for Wildlife is a charitable wildlife rehabilitation and education organization located in Seaforth, Nova Scotia. Since 1997, we have rescued, rehabilitated, and released over 80,000 injured and orphaned wild animals representing over 250 species.
Every year we respond to more than 40,000 calls, texts, and emails, welcome thousands of visitors to our facilities for tours, give hundreds of offsite educational presentations to community and school groups, and collect a wide range of data from animals treated at our rehabilitation center.

In 2014, we launched our "Stepping Stones" campaign to help with the essential upgrades of our facilities at Hope for Wildlife.
This campaign has helped Hope for Wildlife to fund the construction of a new barn to replace the previous barn which was more than 100 years old, was deemed unsalvageable, and lacked essential amenities such as running water, heat, and functional windows.
Completed in 2016, the new barn replaced this outdated structure, allowing us to better meet the needs of our animal patients, as well as our staff and volunteers. We are incredibly grateful for the support that has helped us progress such upgrades!
There is still more work to be done to upgrade our facilities. You can purchase a stepping stone to support these projects at the link below. Stepping stones will be displayed at Hope for Wildlife and can be engraved with your name, or in memory/in honor of someone else.
There are two sizes of stones available: 8" x 8" and 16" x 8".
